Alba Festival Follow Up

Our Music Festival went so well! I am very happy to have had the chance to go again.

Logistically, everything was perfect. All of the students made it to the airport at the scheduled time, went through security in a timely manor, and made it safely to Alba. Check.

During the two weeks of the festival, everyone went to rehearsals and concerts as planned (we produced about 25 concerts during this part of the festival) and nobody got sick or drunk in public! On the way back everything was just as smooth. Pick-up, departure, and landing; everybody made it. It was a very successful trip for me for these reasons.

Also, a word about the music. I brought two small suitcases to hold the orchestral music. AirFrance charged close to $300 for them! Ridiculous. Can orchestras start reading off of their iPad’s now?
